Victoria Stitt, Co-Owner
Victoria well where to begin ….. When she’s not shoe shopping you might just find her actually workin the truck!
This Fashionista, Foodie, Design crazed, Social Media Twit, helping to create the Sticky Ricky’s brand she has been actively involved in the food business her entire life, working in restaurants in a variety of capacities, so was very excited to pursue this new endeavor with her Father. Growing up with two chefs as parents has taught her the challenges and rewards of the kitchen,
Pursuing her passion for Design she completed the Certificate of Interior Design at Mount Royal and since then has worked on many residential and commercial projects.
Catching the travel bug, she has spent much time seeing the World seeking out the best food, design and Fashion (pretending it was all for the greater good of her work ahhh yes Italy, New York, Miami to name a few yes greater good of her work wink, wink).
We are lucky though because from this has come our unique brand. She brings an edgy flare to Sticky Ricky’s and continues to be the women behind the scenes, If you’re lucky you will catch her in her custom Sticky Ricky duds workin the truck.
Rick Stitt, Co-Owner
AKA - Dad, Sticky Ricky, Rickety Prickity, Chef, Mr.Stitt (if you want to freak him out) or even Richard Charles Stitt if he’s being a royal pain in the a**.
Rick is an award-winning Chef with over 35 years of experience in the food industry (shhhh don’t tell him we put that on here, he is still trying to celebrate his 38th birthday), 21 years of which he served as Executive Chef at a number of restaurants.
He completed his schooling at S.A.I.T, and is a certified Red Seal chef.
He has always favored the Cajun cuisine as he likes to call it “The original fusion” food for its unique combinations of French, African, Spanish and southern cooking. Based on that he has created this amazing menu for all of you to enjoy, continually updating and adding specials to keep it interesting. His passion for food comes through with every dish he serves, so come on down and try out his famous dishes.
Shawna Blair and Marcy Minty what can we say about them other than Thank You Ladies!! We could not have done it without you, giving us that extra push to pursue this.
Marcy a former raft instructor in BC, she’s as close to granola as we get. Her quit demeanor can fool you at first but get her going on a topic she feels strongly about and she is going to tell you what she thinks…
Then there is Shawna, Shawna, Shawna, Shawna…. when you don’t find her lending a hand on the Truck Shawna can be found belting out such hits as “Rolling in the deep” by Adele, “Better be Good to me” by Tina Turner and dancing like it’s to save her life. Her unique style of dancing can only be described as well… have you see Elaine in that Seinfeld episode where she is dancing at the wedding? (if not YouTube it you will see what we mean) Yup that explains it!
Long time friends of Rick and Vic’s and not to mention menu tasters always willing to test out Ricks new creations, these two have been there through thick and thin so in order to thank them we have decided to let them work on the truck! oh did we mention for freeJ I somehow think the trade for free food versus free labor will not balance out, I think I see Shawna stuffing her purse with Corn Bread as I write this, Thanks Ladies!
“The New Addition”
Well where to begin, Tina was our very first hire She has kind of learned the ropes right along side us and has helped us so much along the way and had become one of the Family. When she is not jet setting the World you can catch Tina in the Truck making sure Rick is doing his job:), or possibly at one of the other trucks uttering her famous sayings "I'll have one of everything" or "Can I get sauce with that".
